Senior Application Production Support

Key Responsibilities

• Application & Production Support: Provide first-line support for wealth management systems, focusing on securities, futures, and stock options trading (including web and mobile channels).
• Issue Resolution: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production system issues, conducting daily health checks to ensure system stability and global market availability.
• Vendor & Team Collaboration: Liaison with system vendors and in-house developers to implement IT solutions, gather requirements, and manage system upgrades.
• Testing & Deployment: Plan, execute, and document internal testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades and deployments.
• Technical Maintenance: Handle database enhancements, including writing SQL queries, updating workflows, and extracting data for reporting.
• On-Call Support: Provide remote or phone support during non-office hours as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Industry Experience: Background in investment banking, brokerage, or IT system vendors is highly preferred.
• System Knowledge: Experience with trading systems (e.g., Sharp Point, TTL) and strong knowledge of equity/futures trading, settlement workflows, bank transfers, and HKEx/global market connectivity.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, scripting, and DB2; familiarity with FIX protocol, Windows Scheduler, application monitoring, and issue tracking tools.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills; a proactive, multitasking team player who can work independently.
• Languages: Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
