Job Description - (Senior) Data Project Manager | Banking & Finance

My client, a reputable regional bank, seeks a seasoned Data Project Manager to manage and drive project deliveries. Performing PM functions: project preparation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, which covers the related areas in scope, schedule, cost, resources, quality, communication, security, procurement and stakeholders. Key requirements are listed as below:

University graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline is preferred;

Minimum 10 years' work experience in system implementation or Data project management, which cover the followings:

Sound leadership, project management and presentation skills
Sound project experience in managing Data Projects (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Marts, Data Analytics) in Banking or Financial sectors
Strong capability of stakeholder communication and management
Strong capability of analytical thinking, problem solving
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, mature and independent
Excellent decision-making skills and conflict management skills
Good team player and able to work under pressure and tight schedules
Knowledge of Cloud Data Infrastructure is an advantage
Project management qualification (e.g. PMP, CSM) is an advantage
Experience in managing scaled Cloud Data projects is an advantage
Experience in working with Regulators, Compliance is an advantage
Experience in using Confluence, Jira is an advantage
