1. Experience Strategy & Research
Strategy Formulation: Develop evidence-based experience strategies that balance logical business requirements with emotional user needs.
Primary Research: Plan and execute user interviews, focus groups, and surveys; synthesize findings into actionable design insights.
Strategic Frameworks: Apply Design Thinking tools (Journey Mapping, Empathy Maps, Business Model Canvas) to guide the product vision.
Data Storytelling: Analyze quantitative data to build visual narratives and secure stakeholder buy-in for complex recommendations.
2. End-to-End Design Delivery
UX Design: Create user flows, wireframes, information architecture (IA), and interaction patterns for complex systems.
Prototyping: Build mid-to-high fidelity prototypes for usability testing and technical feasibility discussions.
UI & Visual Craft: Deliver clear, consistent UI aligned with brand principles and maintain/extend the design system within Figma.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Technical Alignment: Work closely with engineering teams to understand constraints and ensure high-quality, feasible implementation.
Stakeholder Management: Lead workshops and design reviews to build consensus across regional business, development, and governance teams.
Documentation: Provide clear design rationale and documentation to ensure intent is maintained throughout the development lifecycle.
Experience & Background
Professional Track Record: 6+ years in Product Design, UX/UI, or DX; including at least 3 years within a management consulting firm, design agency, or in-house strategy team.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating advanced UX logic combined with polished UI execution.
System Complexity: Experience designing for internal tools, CRMs, or complex enterprise ecosystems is highly preferred.
Core Competencies
Strategic Thinking: Proficient in management and design frameworks (e.g., SWOT, McKinsey 7S, Double-Diamond, Human-Centered Design).
Technical Toolkit: Expert-level proficiency in Figma and strong command of MS Office (Advanced Excel and PPT for data/strategy).
Soft Skills: Ability to navigate ambiguity, articulate design rationale concisely, and maintain a proactive "can-do" attitude in fast-paced cycles.
Language & Communication
Fluency: Bi-lingual fluency in English and Cantonese is mandatory.
Bonus: Proficiency in Mandarin or Korean is an advantage.
