Job Description - Target Operating Model Lead (6 months contract)

Your new role

Develop and implement an integrated target operating model that aligns the firm's strategic investment data and performance management capabilities.
Lead the design of end-to-end workflows for data sourcing, validation, enrichment, and distribution-from external data management providers to internal platforms-as well as performance measurement and attribution processes using FactSet.
Define and clarify roles and responsibilities across group, business units, and third-party vendors to ensure strong ownership, accountability, and smooth operational handoffs.
Embed strong governance and control mechanisms within the operating model, including data ownership definitions, quality controls, exception management, and escalation processes to ensure accurate, transparent, and reliable data and attribution outcomes.
Oversee and support a consultancy in developing the proposed operating model and solution design for Alternative Assets, and prepare the business case for implementation.
Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across Group Investment, Finance, Risk, and other business units to validate and refine the operating model design.

What you'll need to succeed

Deep understanding of investment management practices, preferably gained within an insurance or asset management environment
At least eight years of experience in project management and business analysis, ideally within the financial services sector
Fluent in English and with excellent communication skills
