Tester (bank), contract

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans for system testing activities, including UAT, regression testing, and scheduled or ad hoc checks.
• Collaborate closely with development, business, and project teams to ensure testing coverage and timely issue resolution.
• Design, prepare, and execute UAT test cases based on business and functional requirements.
• Perform hands-on testing execution and document test results accurately.
• Track, manage, and follow up on defects throughout the testing cycle.
• Support post-production validation and ongoing quality checks to ensure stable system performance.

Requirements:

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
• Over a year of working experience in the retail banking industry with solid software testing experience
• Sound experience in writing UAT test cases.
• Hands-on testing execution experience and strong testing skills are expected.
• Experience in CRM systems, such as Salesforce, Oracle, or SAP, is highly preferred.
• Fundamental knowledge of the testing cycle and testing management, including test strategy, test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
• Able to type in Chinese using standard Windows computer input methods.
• Knowledge and experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge and experience in test automation is highly preferred.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
