Job Description

As a Tester/Quality Assurance, your main responsibilities will include:

Developing and executing test cases to validate system functionality and performance.
Identifying, documenting, and reporting software defects or inconsistencies.
Collaborating with developers and project managers to resolve issues efficiently.
Ensuring adherence to testing standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Conducting regression testing to verify fixes and updates.
Providing detailed test reports to stakeholders for review.
Contributing to the improvement of testing processes and tools.
Supporting user acceptance testing by providing guidance and assistance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tester/Quality Assurance should have:

A strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
Proficiency in creating and executing test plans and test cases.
Experience in identifying and troubleshooting software defects.
Familiarity with testing tools and automation frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of the Financial Services industry is an advantage.
Adaptability to work in a temporary role based in Hong Kong.
