This is a respected institution within the financial services industry, known for its stability and professionalism. As a large organization, it operates on a global scale and has a solid reputation for its commitment to excellence and integrity.

Job Description

Provide real-time support for trading applications, market data feeds, and order management systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networks, and trading platforms.
Act as the first point of contact for traders and front-office staff for IT-related issues.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to implement fixes and enhancements.
Maintain and update support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases.
Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of experience in a trade floor or financial services support role.
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix, Windows, and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Familiarity with trading systems, FIX protocol, and market data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, ITRS Geneos, Nagios) is a plus.
Fluent in English
