Voice Engineer/ UC Engineer

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• Keep the Voice Rig Alive: Provide tier-3 engineering and troubleshooting for Cisco CUCM, Unity, trading turrets, and Verint voice recorders.
• Guarantee Zero Downtime: Keep trading floor and corporate phone systems highly available, resilient, and fast.
• Own the Connections: Manage the integrations between turrets, Cisco CUCM, Verint recorders, and local/global telecom carriers (HKT, BT, etc.).
• Be the Firefighter: Lead the charge on major outages, carrier-side issues, and fraud investigations.
• Build & Upgrade: Design the voice infrastructure for new office build-outs, trading floor expansions, and platform migrations.
• Play Nice with Others: Team up with InfoSec, Networks, Compliance, and vendors to keep everything legal and running.

What You Need (Requirements)

• The Tech Stack: Master-level Cisco CUCM (global dial plans), trading turrets, and Verint compliance recording.
• The Protocols: Deep knowledge of SIP, CUBE, RTP, QoS, and carrier routing.
• The Shield: Strong background in securing voice networks and stopping toll fraud.
• The Mileage: 8+ years of Enterprise Voice/UC engineering, specifically inside high-pressure financial services or trading floors.
• The Edge: Experience acting as the ultimate technical authority/lead on projects. Project management skills are a nice bonus.
