Accountant - Securtites firm

Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, including reconciliation.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Conduct financial audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain general ledger and other accounting records.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure timely filing with relevant authorities.
- Coordinate with external auditors and assist in the annual audit process.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest financial reporting standards and regulations.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and relevant financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English, fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.
- CPA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
