Assistant Accounting Manager

Job Description

• Manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure their accuracy and completeness.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting staff, promoting continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the audit process.
• Ensure strict compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Understanding of US GAAP and experience with international subsidiaries of US corporations preferred.
• Proficiency in project-based accounting and familiarity with IPO processes.
• Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
• 4-8 years of experience managing a full set of accounts.
• Proficient in accounting software, such as Peachtree, and payroll systems.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and detail.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• High integrity, dependability, and a results-oriented approach.
