Boarding Officer

Our client is the leading vessel/shipping operator offering extensive technology-based maritime services.They are currently looking for an outstanding Boarding Officer to join their company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attends to all vessels, including international cruises in Hong Kong and southern China, in sequence to ensure their compliance with pre-arrival and departure protocols.
• Oversees and collaborates with subcontractors, consignees/surveyors, or other local entities involved in vessel/cargo operations, bunkering, crew changes, crew medical aid, and spare parts shipment/delivery Cash-To-Master.
• Gathers and submits port disbursement accounts to Principals/Owners for reimbursement.
• Provides timely reports on work progress to Principals/Owners/Company Management.

Job requirements:

• Has diploma or higher qualification in relevant fields.
• Possess at least 2 years of relevant shore-based experience in Shipping/Operation sectors.
• Have a foundational understanding of the Hong Kong Shipping Ordinance.
• Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English, Chinese, and Mandarin.
• Exhibit customer-centricity, along with strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in computer skills, particularly in MS Office and Excel applications
