Director of Finance

Job Description:

1. Overseeing financial operations: Manage and monitor all financial activities of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

2. Cost control and profitability: Implement cost-saving measures and ensure the financial health and profitability of the hotel.

3. Financial planning and analysis: Develop financial strategies and provide analysis to support decision-making processes.

4. Risk management: Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the hotel's assets and reputation.

5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.

6. Team management: Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support to achieve financial goals.

7. Strategic planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the hotel's overall goals.

8. Financial reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

9. Audit coordination: Coordinate financial audits and ensure accurate and timely reporting.

10. Relationship management: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, and vendors.

Job Requirments:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• CPA or CFA certification
• Minimum of 10 years of finance or experience in a sizable hotel, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
• Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards
• Proven track record of cost control and profitability improvement
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
• Strategic thinking and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
