Senior Accountant/Accountant

Job description

​ Our client is a family investment office that focuses on identifying and investing in potential projects within these sectors to generate returns, through public stocks, private equity, and fixed income Investment Fund, and developed portfolio re-balancing and profit-maximizing strategies. They are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team.

• Financial Reporting and Consolidation: Prepare and consolidate financial statements for the company and its invested entities. Ensure accurate and timely reporting in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

• Financial Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of financial statements, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making processes. Monitor financial performance and highlight areas of concern or opportunities for improvement.

• Investment Research: Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on potential investment opportunities. Assess the financial viability, risks, and returns of investment projects. Prepare reports and recommendations for management.

• Compliance and Audit: Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory guidelines, and internal policies.

• Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance financial reporting and consolidation processes. Identify areas for automation, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: Ideally, 4-6 years of experience in financial reporting and consolidation, preferably within a Big 4 accounting firm or a similar investment management setting.

• Qualifications: CPA qualification is required to demonstrate a strong technical accounting background.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous and detail-oriented approach to financial reporting, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.

• Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze complex financial information and provide meaningful insights.

• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external auditors, and investment professionals.
