Workplace Security Engineer

Job Accountabilities

• Responsible for coordinating the regional deployment and implementation of new security technologies, system change lifecycle of critical security devices and tools, including but not limited to the following areas:
  • Antivirus and Endpoint Protection
  • Breach Attack Simulation
  • Certificate Management
  • Cyber Deception Protection
  • Cloud Access Security Broker
  • Data Loss Prevention (Endpoint / Email / Cloud SaaS)
  • Endpoint / Email Encryption
  • Patching, Vulnerability Management and Fix
  • External Attack Surface Management
  • Microsoft Information Governance, Protection and Compliance
  • Privileged Access Management
  • Security Cloud Service
  • Secure File Transfer
  • Security Information Event Management
  • Unix Authentication Management
• Be the subject matter expert on IT security solutions and provide technical advice to key stakeholders
• Closely work with the team to review configuration changes with regards to security toolsets, provide suggestions to improve IT security solutions
• Support break/fix activities regarding operational stability of security technologies
• Act as internal tier 3 engineering support to escalate the change requests in key IT security operational areas

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree holder with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT Security / IT Infrastructure
• CISA / CISM / CISSP certification is a plus (or to be acquired in 12 months after hiring)
• Vendor technology certification, e.g. Symantec, RSA, Tanium, Splunk, Microsoft, etc. is preferable
• In-depth knowledge in IT security technologies and advanced troubleshooting skills
• Good knowledge in system development / IT risk management frameworks and standards / IT compliance / IT security incident handling, etc. is preferable
• Ability to communicate the security-related requirements to a broad range of audience from technical to non-technical person
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
