DNA Recruit Partners is currently recruiting talented professionals for a significant initiative that focuses on sustainable waste management, renewable energy, and environmental conservation. The role of Shift Supervisor encompasses the supervision of the operations team with the primary objective of ensuring the seamless and efficient functioning of the plant. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to team members, ensuring their strict adherence to operational protocols, safety measures, and quality standards.

Task Coordination: Efficiently organize and allocate tasks and responsibilities among team members, aiming to optimize resource utilization and streamline workflow.

Issue Resolution: Identify operational challenges, equipment malfunctions, or process deviations, and take the necessary corrective actions. Collaborate closely with the maintenance and engineering teams to address technical issues.

Performance Monitoring: Continuously evaluate the team's performance, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and furnishing team members with constructive feedback to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Safety Compliance: Ensure that all team members strictly adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the safe handling of hazardous materials.

Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of shift activities, encompassing production data, incident reports, and near-miss incidents. Prepare comprehensive shift reports summarizing key performance metrics, operational challenges, and recommendations for enhancement.

Training and Development: Identify the training needs of team members and provide coaching and guidance to enrich their skills and knowledge. Regularly conduct training sessions focusing on operational procedures, safety protocols, and equipment handling.

Communication Facilitation: Promote effective communication within the team and across different shifts. Act as a bridge between management and team members, conveying pertinent information, objectives, and expectations.

Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek out opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement. Collaborate with the management team to implement best practices and spearhead initiatives for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Background: Possession of a Higher Diploma or higher degree in Supply Chain management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a closely related field.

Experience:A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in process plant operations.

Shift Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work in a continuous rotating shift pattern. (16:00 -00:00 / 23:00 - 07:00)

Personal Attributes: Demonstrated self-motivation, high integrity, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
