Asst IT Manager (K-K)

• Professional railway engineering consulting firm in Asia Pacific region
• We are looking for Asst IT Manager - with details as follows :

 

The Job :

• Report to the Office Manager
• Work independently for all round IT role for an office of 20-25 staff
• Provide in-house comprehensive support for IT hardware, overseeing the repair and maintenance of laptops, desktops, mobile devices ....etc
• Diagnosed and troubleshot a wide range of computer issues, network connectivity problems, and hardware/software malfunctions.
• Offer support for wireless and wired networking and video conference and presentation systems as needed.
• Perform servers, storage administration, backup/restore and troubleshooting.
• Develop and implement data backup and recovery strategies to ensure data reliability.
• Maintain and update the companies’ websites.
• Implement security measures, including malware removal and installation of security software, to safeguard systems.
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with supporting MS Windows, server, MS Office Applications and MS Office 365 administration
• Hands-on experience in Google Workplace administration
• Maintain IT infrastructure to ensure availability.
• Participate in different types of IT projects.
• Explore and study the latest IT products and technologies.
• Perform software/hardware deployment, maintenance, and testing.
• Handle IT procurement process and asset management.
• Communicate and coordinate with both internal support teams and external vendors for IT-related tasks.
• Provide technical advice for staff and team members.
• Knowledge of security solutions, networking, virtualization, backup solutions, and software deployment will be a definite advantage.
• Assist with cloud projects, site connectivity, express route, and VPN.
• Assist in logging and disposal of end-of-life equipment.
