Responsibilities
Lead & Drive Business / Online / Proposition Initiatives
- Lead & drive end-to-end implementation of business / online / proposition initiatives by working with our insurance partners as well as internal / group key stakeholders
- Examples on business initiatives could include launch new health & protection sales model, virtual online selling to oversea customers, etc
- Examples on online initiatives could including launch new online to offline life lead generation system, online short term endowment journey
- Examples on proposition initiatives could includes new savings plan, new investment linked proposition
- Competitive landscape and market analysis such that we are on top of development in market
Product & Provider Management
- Work with partners on all aspects related to product management, including but not limited to dividend cut, persistency, revamp / enhancement of existing products, admin & claims issues etc
- Support the annual product & provider due diligence to fulfil the regulatory and group requirements, registration of provider with Insurance Authority
Partnership Management
- Help prepare the regular monthly Product Development Committee / Operating Committee / RSC meeting decks and ensure alignment with partners, follow up the minutes / actions promptly
Annual Planning
- Support the annual planning process with local & group, also our insurance partners
Data Driven Operating Model / Data Analytics
- Work with data analytic team to come up with useful data analysis for the business
- Use of these data analysis in management reporting to demonstrate our DDOM capabilities
Eco-System Partnership Development
- Support eco-system partnership development with the right life and GI products, and work closely with Digital Marketing team within banca and Digital Ecosystem teams
- Source the right product from our insurance partners that would fits well for the ecosystem partners
- Provide input to digital teams on what proposition would fit the customers of the ecosystem partners
Risk & Control
- Ensure we fulfil all the regulations and guidelines related to products / providers and we have proper controls/procedures in place
- Help support any internal / regulatory audits data submission or enquiries on product/provider related matter
Requirements
- In-depth experience of secure lending, insurance financing, how to manage a secure lending book, process, pricing, margin, risk, control
- Ideally familiar with insurance and how insurance financing applies to an insurance product
- Sound understanding of Financial Services, to specifically include a working knowledge and application of audit and banking regulations
- Sound understanding of local insurance financing market in HK
