Engineer - Civil Engineering

COSCO-HIT Terminals (Hong Kong) Limited, a joint venture between COSCO SHIPPING Ports Limited and Hutchison Port Holdings Trust, is located at Terminal 8 in Hong Kong's Kwai Tsing Container Port. 

Terminal 8 (T8) Civil Engineering Team is responsible for all civil and building projects and repair and maintenance works in HIT and T8 Terminals 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9 and some other outside depots. The scope of works involves a variety of civil engineering works including marine and building structures, pavement, water supply and drainage works. Our team offers a variety of civil engineering works exposure from conceptual design, construction supervision and project management. Our team involves professional civil and structural engineers who will assist young engineers to attain their engineering qualifications including MHKIE, MICE and MIStructE.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tender/contract documents for civil engineering projects
• Contract administration of civil engineering projects and maintenance construction works
• Manage and supervise subordinates and external consultants and contractors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines
• Possess civil or structural works design and technical specification preparation experience
• Good problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
