Finance Manager ( year contract)

Responsiblities:

1. Financial reporting/ Fund administration/ Treasury

Work closely with the fund administrator to prepare various deliverables (including call/ distribution notice, management account, carry waterfall calculation, quarterly report, capital account statements, audited financial statements, etc)

Bank account/ prime brokerage account / custodian account opening

Assist the Finance team in managing the fund level's credit facility

2. Tax compliance/ structuring

Work with external tax advisors/ internal tax team to ensure the tax compliance

Evaluate the tax efficiency of the investment holding structure in various jurisdictions

3. Valuation

Assist in the quarterly valuation process.

Work with independent valuer, deal team and other finance team members to handle queries from Valuation Committee

4. Investor relations

Deal with investment-related queries and requests from the investors

Assist the team in handling the due diligence questionnaires from LPs (especially during the fund raising process)

Prepare the presentation materials for LP meetings/ AGM

5. Any ad-hoc assignments

Requirements:

• Ideally a graduate in accounting or finance and qualified accountant or non-graduates who have obtained a professional accounting qualification, And at least five years’ experience in Finance/Accounting
• Solid knowledge of the regulatory and financial reporting regime for alternative funds in the Cayman Islands
• Strong communication skills. Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Experience of managing others
• A team player, able to work with people of all levels who also has the ability to motivate and influence a team
• Able to prioritize work to meet strict deadlines
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Can-do attitude and willing to work additional hours when required
