IR and PR Director

Job Description:

• Development of overall IR and PR strategies.
• Establish and maintain relationships with retail and institutional investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the finance and legal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting obligations.
• Manage the company's public relations efforts, including media relations, press releases, and crisis communication strategies.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers.
• Provide insights to the board and executive team on market perceptions on financial performance, policies and strategic decisions.
• Oversee the creation and distribution of corporate communications materials, including annual reports, corporate presentations, and investor communications.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the executive team, finance department, legal counsel, and marketing team, to align messaging and ensure consistent communication across all channels.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in investor relations and public relations.
• Review and suggest recommendations for improvement.
• Any ad hoc assignment as requested.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, communications, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in Finance/ Investor Relations/Public Relations /Investment Banking Division/Equity Research.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, SEC regulations, and corporate governance practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Chinese), with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and media contacts.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data and market trends.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
• Open to travel.

Candidates with experience working with US listed stock market, specifically in managing investor relations programs, coordinating financial communications, and navigating regulatory requirements, will receive priority consideration.
