Job Summary

Reporting to the Head of IT, the job holder will lead a team of IT professionals with functions spanning system development, infrastructure administration, helpdesk services and regional support in Greater China.

This position calls for excellent creativity, problem-solving and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep abreast of the latest market & technology trends, regulatory requirements and developments, and make timely recommendations to senior management
• Consistently review to ensure a secure, reliable, scalable, compliant, and efficient infrastructure and operations
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop new technology solutions to support business objectives
• Lead the helpdesk team to ensure that high service levels are maintained and incidents are effectively troubleshot
• Manage and administer Microsoft 365, Azure services and in-house applications, promote and organise training to facilitate the adoption of new technologies
• Continuously enhance IT policies, processes, and practices, and recommend changes to senior management
• Assist businesses in conducting data analytics

Requirements

• Degree holder in computer science or related discipline
• At least 10 years of working experience in IT Operations and Infrastructure
• Demonstrated expertise in Low Code Development, API, Database, Web Technology, cloud computing and other emerging technologies, including Azure
• Experienced in integrating Power BI with various data sources, such as databases, Excel files, and cloud platforms.
• Solid experience in resources, project planning, budgeting and/or team management
• Regional support experience in Chinese Mainland is an advantage
• Proficient in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Putonghua
• Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, and proven leadership skills
• Able to interact effectively with all levels of staff including senior management
• Strong commercial acumen and customer service mindset
• A team player who can also work independently
