Position: Principal/Deputy Principal
Location: St. Hilary’s International Nursery . Kindergarten (Hung Hom & Ma On Shan)
Start Date: August 2024
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary educational leader to serve as the Principal/Deputy Principal of our kindergarten section. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the school's operations, including curriculum development, staff management, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and vision to ensure the kindergarten's educational programs and policies align with its mission and goals
- Manage and supervise all teaching and administrative staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that promotes holistic student development and prepares children for the transition to primary school
- Foster strong relationships with parents, community partners, and local educational authorities
- Continually assess and improve the quality of the kindergarten's programs and services
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, EDB regulations, and accreditation standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or above; or a related field
-Certificate holder of completion of principal-ship course
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a kindergarten
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices in kindergarten education
- Commitment to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and innovative learning environment
