Job Description - Project Manager

Project introduction:


TCM-driven Mental Wellness Hub is a platform providing evidence-based Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) preventive and treatment services for the high-risk population and patients with common mental disorders in the community. The platform fosters interdisciplinary pilot cooperation between TCM and counselling, which enhances capacity building, research development, and network collaboration.

The appointee will report directly to the Project’s Principal Investigator and is responsible for the overall administration and operation of the above TCM-driven mental wellness project. 

Responsibilities:

  • Executing project plans for the implementation of mental wellness programme;
  • Coordinating and communicating with project stakeholders, including team members, partners, and funders;
  • Ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables and meeting project objectives within budget and time constraints;
  • Monitoring the progress and performance of the project and making necessary adjustments to ensure project success;
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks and ensuring project compliance with relevant regulations and standards;
  • Preparing comprehensive reports for submission to the funding body; and
  • Undertaking any other duties as assigned by the Project’s Principal Investigator.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably a master’s degree in management or related field;
  • At least ten years of relevant work experience with not less than five years at supervisory level; 
  • Experience in healthcare operations or similar service environments, and attending to finance management would be preferred;
  • Able to lead a team and handle various tasks independently;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is also essential; and
  • Self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as sound analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

The appointee will be required to work on weekends and/ or public holidays.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a written test and an interview.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
