Application Deployment Engineer

Your role:

• Mainly to provide daily support to the application/database change deployment process and troubleshooting, Including the preparation and planning of the change;
• Provide assistant to our cloud architect for the infrastructure setup and configuration;
• Provide overnight work-from-home standby support to our application systems (On roster, about 15 days per month. Addition allowance will be provided);
• Proactively to maintain Reliability, Availability and Serviceability (RAS) for our critical systems.

We look for:

• Diploma or above in IT related fields with 0-4 year on application/database administration related experience. Nice to have relevant IT professional certificates (but not a must);
• Careful person with the capability to stick to the details during application change deployment process;
• You always know what you are doing when engaging with problematic situations. Such as when change is failed and how you should react;
• Keen to learn new technologies (AWS Applications, CI/CD tools, ArgoCD, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Linux, Shell Script, Python); 
• This is an operation/stability centric position. Act as a safeguard of production environment; 
• You will participate into a mission statement philosophy of「 experience is unimportant, the output does 」;
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
