Job Description - Resident Assistant Clerical Officer

AECOM Asia Company Limited invites applications for the following Resident Site Staff position(s) for contract administration of design-build-operate Contract No. EP/SP/169/20 – Island West and Island East Transfer Stations (IWIETS) Second Follow-On Contract and Contract No. EP/SP/170/20 – West Kowloon Transfer Station (WKTS) Second Follow-On Contract. The Resident Site Staff are to supervise the design and construction of the upgrading and modification works for the existing Refuse Transfer Stations (RTSs) and their associated Landfill Reception Areas (LRAs) at the West New Territories (WENT) Landfill under the Contracts. Major upgrading and modification works include (i) new buildings for site offices and treatment processes; (ii) canopies for the vehicular ramps and container storage areas; (iii) wastewater treatment plants upgrade; (iv) odour control and monitoring improvements; (v) waste handling plant and equipment upgrade; and (vi) marine vessel replacement.

Candidates should have:

  • Level 2 or equivalent (Note_HKDSE) or above in five subjects in HKDSE or equivalent; or
  • Level 2 (Note_HKCEE) / Grade E or above in five subjects in HKCEE or equivalent; and
  • Knowledge in application of common business software (e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel); and
    • full-time working experience on personnel management or human resources related duties and preferably with post-secondary certificate on personnel management or human resources; or
    • for recruitment exercises encountered with recruitment difficulty subject to substantiation by the Consultants*/Consultant* and acceptance by the managing department, post-secondary certificate on personnel management or human resources may be considered.


The language proficiency requirements of Level 2 (Note_HKCEE) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE/ HKCEE or equivalent shall be met.

Note_HKDSE: “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE.

Note_HKCEE: Attained Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 2 respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.

The candidates should have minimum academic/ professional qualification requirements of the above posts.


Conditions: Appointments will be made on Agreement Terms with AECOM Asia Company Limited in accordance with the prevailing Government’s terms and conditions. Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
