Job Description:

We are a seeking a Assistant Manager/Senior Accountant that will support the reconciliation team to automate manual tasks and accelerate the reconciliation process. ​

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the accounts reconciliation team to understand user requirements and identify areas of improvement.
• Design and maintain standardized templates to be used in the reconciliation process to identify discrepancies.
• Leverage data analytical tools and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to streamline workflows and enhance data accuracy.
• Develop macros and scripts to automate manual tasks.
• Conduct thorough analysis of the current finance operations, identify pain points, and propose streamlined processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Collaborate with different teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and assist with the testing and implementation of new systems and enhancements.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented processes, identify opportunities for optimization, and recommend enhancements as needed.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience within a multinational company
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills to help on complex and technical issues or initiatives
• Competent in MS Office applications such as Access
• Proficiency in financial software systems (e.g., ERP systems, financial planning tools) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiar with RPA and Data Analytics tool
• Previous automation-related experience
• Proven experience as a Finance Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role, with a deep understanding of finance processes, accounting principles, and financial systems
