Senior Lecturer (holding the title of Project Director)

Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Lecturer (holding the title of Project Director) in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 526938), to commence as soon as possible thereafter, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should have a PhD Degree in social sciences or a master's degree in business administration/service management, with a combination of ten years of teaching and professional working experience at senior management level. Preference will be given to candidates who have networks with and/or working experience in the non-profit sector. The candidate should have project management skillset, programme development experience, stakeholder engagement with people from diverse background, including communicating with funders.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
