Job Description - Senior Officer, Human Resources

The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide support and be responsible for the entire talent acquisition cycle such as sourcing and shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, proposing job offers, and onboarding new hires

  • To provide HR services and advices to staff and departments in a professional manner

  • To assist in the preparation of management reports and HR analytics

  • To assist in the workforce and budget planning exercises

  • To provide support in the review of HR policies and processes

  • To provide support in various HR projects and people initiatives

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines

  • Minimum 3 years' relevant working experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Well-versed in employment-related ordinances

  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge and experience in HR analytics and Workday HRMS are preferred
