Job Description - Strategic Account Manager

ECG is a China-based eCommerce solutions provider, providing on-demand digital commerce technology development and related execution capabilities for retailers and fashion brands from around the world. ECG acts as a “one-stop” enabling partner for designer fashion, branded apparel and retail companies seeking to sell their products online in China, Australia and around the world by providing integrated online and offline technology and supply chain solutions. Currently, ECG are looking for capable candidates to join our growing team in the following role,

The strategic account manager’s role is to act as a bridge between the company and stakeholders on the customer’s side. The Strategic Account Manager must always look for new opportunities to help grow our customer’s business. Insights for Strategic Account Management first requires you to leverage the relationships you have already built to understand the problems your client might be facing. You can then cross-sell or up-sell our company’s services with your skills, ensuring that we strategically help identify opportunities for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform excellent account servicing to fulfil customers’ needs by providing proposal/solutions/products;
  • Participate in pricing solutions/services and coordinate client meetings both online and offline;
  • Stay informed about the China and Hong Kong eCommerce ecosystem;
  • Develop and execute strategic brand plans, including sales goals, metrics, and budgeting;
  • Monitor the order processing, included but not limit to, follow up sales orders, payment issue, delivery process and credit issue, etc.;
  • Ensure the delivery of solutions and products to customers in a timely manner;
  • Forecast monthly and quarterly business trend to achieve sales targets;
  • Analyse sales data to understand brand positioning, competitive landscapes, and make data-driven decisions;
  • Explore and identify new business opportunities;
  • Maintain good relationship with key accounts;
  • Coordinate with different internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree or above in Business Management, Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, E-commerce or other equivalent disciplines
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in business development and/or account management, internet/e-commerce preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills & ability to influence both external / internal stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and strategies, with a track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with a professional “get it done” attitude and work ethic
  • Proven success in acquiring, building & maintaining long term customer relationships
  • Adapts well to change and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to create new, innovative ideas
  • Passionate with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proficient in English, Chinese, and Mandarin (spoken and written).
