We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Support Officer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the system infrastructure of our organization. As a System Support Officer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users regarding system infrastructure issues.
- Managing and maintaining the organization's system infrastructure, including servers, networks, and associated hardware and software.
- Monitoring system performance and identifying areas for improvement to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
- Conducting regular system backups and implementing disaster recovery plans to protect critical data and minimize downtime.
- Assisting with system installations, configurations, and maintenance tasks.
- Responding to and resolving system-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in system infrastructure support .
- Strong knowledge of system administration, including server management, network protocols, and security protocols.
- Hands-on experience in installation, upgrade and configuration of Active Directory, Exchange Server, Windows Server and MS. SQL Server
- Knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup
- Proficiency in implementing and managing virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., Huawei, Azure).
- Familiarity with basic network infrastructure and protocols (TCP/IP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with end-users and stakeholders.
