Job Description - Accounting Assistant / Cost Control Clerk [Location at Head Office]

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for data entry, clerical duties and assisting supervisor in preparation of the project objective, monthly cost control report and budget forecast
  • Control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded
  • Provide cost control and planning advice to project team as and when required
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required


Requirements :

  • Diploma or above in Accounting or related disciplines, with at least one year of working experience
  • Good analytical and numerical sense
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous
  • Proficient in MS Office e.g. Excel
  • A fast learner with ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge in SAP will be advantageous but not a must
