This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering solution for the design, implementation and contract management for system enhancement, alternation and improvement works


• Prepare tender documents and drawings for Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) and airfield systems works


• Manage project implementation, installation, testing and commissioning works


• Prepare progress reports and report to Civil Aviation Department (CAD) and relevant external parties


• Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure the works are conducted in safe and efficient manner with minimal impact on daily airport operations and completed on time


• Ensure new installations are in compliance with the latest design codes and practice, the Authority’s requirements and relevant statutory requirements


• Assist in planning and budget control of refurbishment works


• Provide engineering support to operation, engineering and maintenance teams

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronic Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 3 years’ relevant working experience in design, construction and/or project management of electrical and electronic works 


• Experience in airport works and/or large scale electrical and mechanical facilities under a live operating environment is an advantage


• Strong communication, coordination, interpersonal, analytical and organizing skills


• Proactive, service-oriented and able to work independently


• Possess a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred


• Proficient in MS Office applications


• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
