Inspector of Works

We are now looking for applications for the following position from highly motivated individuals keen to play an integral role in delivering world class cultural venues in the heart of Hong Kong.

Candidate should:

• Have either (i) a Diploma from a HKSAR Technical Institute, or equivalent in an appropriate engineering discipline with at least 8 years of relevant post-qualification experience;
• Or (ii) a Higher Certificate from a HKSAR Technical College, or equivalent in an appropriate discipline, with at least 9 years of relevant experience inclusive of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience; 
• Or (iii) at least 4 years’ appropriate experience as a Resident Inspector of Works (HSE) in a Government or quasi-Government project;
• Preferably have a recognized certificate in construction safety and environmental field, or equivalent, for registration as a Safety Officer under the Factories & Industrial Undertakings (Safety Officers and Safety Supervisors) (Amendment Regulation 2001) or be a Registered Safety Officer; and
• Be proficient in English and Chinese;
• Immediate availability is preferred.

 

Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualification and experience requirements stated above may be considered for more junior positions.
