We are looking for a  Network Engineer  to join our client's fast-growing team. 

Responsibilities: 

• Stationary at HKIX sites for port provisioning, port migration and provide technical support services to HKIX.
• Assist for coordination, installation, testing and commissioning and get along with the integration and migration of the existing and new HKIX core infrastructure and projects.
• Coordination with HKIX Network Operations Center (HKIX NOC) to oversee and act as second-tier support of fault cases and enquiries from HKIX participants through emails.
• Coordination with the University’s appointed contractor to carry out all necessary works on interconnection, interfacing, testing and commissioning associated with
• its offered equipment to allow a smooth integration process.

Requirements:

• Grade E/Level 2 of Chinese and English in HKCEE/HKDSE.
• Holder of CCNA or Arista Cloud Engineer Level 2 or above certification.
• With demonstrated experience on implementing GEs, 10GEs, 100/400GEs and support of service provider networks, especially on Internet eXchange Provider (IXP) environment.
• Familiar with the network features and demonstrated working experience including the following: Port security, Port channel and Link Aggregation, Spanning Tree, IPv4 and IPv6 Routing, BGP protocol
• Good experience on network troubleshooting and familiar on the network features with working experience: Virtual Device Context, Virtual Port Channel, Fabric Path, VXLAN EVPN
• Good communication (English and Chinese) and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Internet Exchange provider (IXP) Cisco Nexus 7000, 7700 & 9000
