Anderson Asphalt Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of CK Infrastructure Holdings Limited) was formed in 1977 and is one of the market leaders in the supplying and laying of bituminous products for the construction industry in Hong Kong, and is a licensed supplier of Bituminous Pavement Materials and Construction of Special Bituminous Surfacing.

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Building Study or relevant discipline
• Experience in NEC Project
• At least 2 years contracting and production experience preferably in the roadwork / asphalt industry
• Solid understanding of asphalt technology gained ideally via operational exposure
• Understanding of key financial principles & tendering project based works
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong business sense with creative thinking, proactive and independent
• Sound analytical and negotiating skills

Tasks & responsibilities

• A member of the QS team will assist the quantity survey manager in the execution of site measurements and the preparation of interim
• Formulating the statement and final measurement
• Follow up on the client's work certification and payment
• Liaising with the client to confirm measurements and sort out disputes
• Estimating new rates for additional and extra work
• Initiating contractual variations and claims
