Senior Engineer (Cabling Infrastructure)

RESPONSIBILITIES: -

 

• Plan and design of Data Center Cabling Infrastructure includes Structured Cabling, Cable Containment, TBE Room, Meet Room, Riser, and Lead-in, with consideration of system flexibility, redundancy, stability, security, and sustainability
• Prepare technical proposal, presentation, RFQ document and drawing incorporating technical requirements in the specification, schematic, and layout drawing
• Liaise and manage contractors to carry out construction activities and review work acceptance 
• Attend internal/ external project coordination meeting, technical meeting, and site inspection
• Maintain Data Center cabling infrastructure operation, regularly inspect data center health and quality check for cabling infrastructures of Data Center
• Other relevant assignments as specified by managers

REQUIREMENTS: -

 

• Higher Diploma /Degree of Information Technology Management, Building Services, or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years working experiences in data center industry
• Solid experiences in design and manage Data Center structured cabling system and construction project
• Solid experiences in Data center internal/ external project management 
• Good communication, presentation, and communication skills to internal & external customers of different levels
• Knowledge in TIA-942 infrastructure standard
• Holder of professional certifications i.e. CDCP, PMP is highly preferred
• Basic knowledge on AutoCAD is essential
• Able to work independently and self-motivated to deliver good results
• Good team player with strong problem-solving skills
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistance/ Engineer – Cabling Infrastructure
