The applicant must possess:
- a recognised degree in one of the following aspects: sustainability, environmental management / science / engineering / construction and building related disciplines OR business / marketing / communications or equivalent disciplines;
- certification in the green buildings, ESG or carbon auditing will be an advantage, but not a must;
- a minimum of 3-5 years’ post-qualification work experience; experience in consultancy firm or public body or building and construction industry will be an advantage;
- passion and interest in sustainability field;
- a pleasant team player with good sense of responsibility, good communication, project management and interpersonal skills with global mindset;
- proficiency in Microsoft application software (including Words, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); and
- good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Duties include:
- to assist in sustainability initiatives for the construction industry such as trainings, tools, schemes and related consultancy services, with an aim to support the industry to drive towards Hong Kong's goal of achieving carbon neutrality before 2050;
- to prepare and develop write-up and presentation materials whenever required;
- conduct research on various subjects related to sustainability, environment and construction whenever required;
- to assist in organising sustainability related workshops, seminars, conferences and awards, e.g. CIC Sustainable Construction Award;
- to liaise and coordinate with external and internal parties in order to facilitate the work and functions of the department and other teams;
- to assist in coordinating and carrying out the duties in the development of corporate sustainability initiatives in accordance with international standards, such as environmental, social, and governance (“ESG”) data collection, analysis and reporting;
- to provide administrative, secretarial and technical support to the Committee on Environment, working groups, internal meetings, stakeholder engagement and activities held by the department; and
- to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.
