Senior Software Engineer-Network Security

Responsibilities

Team Introduction : The security engineering-network security department of ByteDance Security and Risk Control is responsible for the construction, planning and management of the company's internal network security defense system. We are committed to protecting the data security of hundreds of millions of users and creating a protective shield for healthy and free communication for every user of ByteDance. The team actively arranges the training and recruitment of security talents, and has security R&D centers in Beijing and Shenzhen. Talents from all parties are welcome to join. 1. Responsible for the design and development of network security-network isolation system, including packet forwarding, ACL policy matching, flow table optimization, etc. 2. Responsible for the company's business/cross-domain network isolation online/deployment/operation and maintenance and policy customization 3 , Work with other teams to promote security compliance for business access within the company and handle security-related needs.

Qualifications

1. Master TCP/IP protocol, familiar with VxLan/BGP/ and other protocols, and multi-threaded development Experience is preferred 2. Be proficient in developing network products based on DPDK, and be familiar with packet forwarding technology and ACL policy matching technology 3. Be familiar with virtual network architecture/high availability design experience, and have experience in large traffic/high concurrency/SDN/NFV development Experience is preferred 4. Or familiar with container network architecture, experience in service grid development such as cilium/lstio is preferred 5. Strong sense of responsibility, strong learning ability, excellent adaptability and pressure resistance, and ability to work across teams 6. Bonus points: Candidates with firewall/zero trust gateway development experience are preferred.
