Roles & Responsibilities
1. Participate in the management and operation system construction of the New Cornerstone Researcher Project
2. Be responsible for talent scanning in the discipline field, communicate and interact with the scientist group, and improve the application quality of the project
3. Organize project review and renewal evaluation of current researchers, connect with domestic and international review experts, and ensure that the review system and review process are implemented in place
4. Connect with New Cornerstone Researchers, support researchers in carrying out scientific research, and organize and hold academic exchange meetings
5. Responsible for annual and periodic project summary and analysis, professional and impact assessment of projects, optimization of project system design, and ensuring healthy and stable operation of projects.
Qualifications
1. Possess a Ph.D. in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology or medicine-related fields
2. Have more than 8 years of scientific research or project review and management experience in colleges and universities or research institutes (after obtaining a Ph.D.)
3. Be familiar with the project review system and standards of scientific research funding agencies
4. Have in-depth insights into the subject area (one of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology or medicine), understand the development trends and cutting-edge directions of the field, and be familiar with the scientific research ecology and scientist groups in the field
5. Have strong communication skills, project management skills and coordination skills for sensitive and complex matters
6. Have a strong enthusiasm and ability to learn, and be able to quickly adapt to new environments
7. Have team management experience and cross-team communication and collaboration skills.
