What the day will look like

• Developing new business and servicing of the designated business portfolio
• Managing and providing high quality service to our existing clients
• Achieving business growth by developing additional business from current portfolio and new clients
• Performing other duties as directed and assigned by the management
• Leveraging own expertise and relationships to deliver solutions
• Promoting local sales process and opportunities for clients and prospects including managing revenue pipeline, ensuring inclusion in local sales campaigns
• Regularly providing updates with respect to changes in local market (i.e. legislation, trends, etc.) including partnering with communications director to develop risk alerts and other materials as appropriate
• Identifying and escalating areas for process improvement
• Any other duties assigned by the company from time to time

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Minimum of 3 - 5 years' proven account management track-record servicing primarily to corporate and / or global clients within an insurance brokerage or general insurance firm
• Sound General Insurance experience (including but not limited to Property & Casualty, Public and Products liability, Motor, Employee Compensation) Some experience in GI Underwriting, Claims or Operations would be a great advantage
• Thorough knowledge of local markets, including insurers, tax, regulatory, unique coverage / issues
• Sound written and spoken communication skills in English, and Chinese
• Certification in ANZII, ACII or across General Insurance
• Bachelors or above in in business or related disciplines
