Chief Executive Officer

Our client is a renowned financial services institution based in Hong Kong, focused on alternative investments in Asia. They're looking for a Chief Executive Officer to join as part of the Management team directly reporting to Chairman. This position will be responsible for formulate and execute a holistic business strategy aimed at propelling growth, profitability and market dominance for their investments in APAC.

Responsibilities:

• Identify emerging market opportunities, trends and investment preferences to drive informed decision-making and strategic planning
• Cultivate an environment of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence throughout the organisation.
• Streamline operational processes and systems to heighten efficiency, productivity and profitability.
• Develop and oversee the annual budget, financial forecasts and performance metrics to attain financial targets and goals.
• Spearhead initiatives for cost optimisation and devise strategies to amplify revenue, ultimately maximising profitability.
• Recruit, nurture and lead an adept executive team capable of achieving organisational objectives.
• Cultivate a collaborative, accountable and empowering culture to inspire and motivate employees at all levels.
• Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders, encompassing investors, partners and clients.
• Effectively communicate with the chairman, providing regular updates on business performance, opportunities and challenges.
• Serves as the company's ambassador at industry events, conferences, and networking occasions to boister brand visibility and reputation.

Requirements:

• MBA or Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Legal or related discipline
• A demonstrated track record in executive leadership roles such as CEO, Deputy CEO, Chief Strategy Officer, Managing Director or Head of Sales.
• Previous achievement in alternative asset classes such as private credit and structured finance is a must
• Previous involvement in initiatives aimed at product transformation with a focus on achieving scalability, business growth and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory framework governing the operations of financial services business is essential.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
