General Manager Qingdao Product Company

We are seeking a visionary and experienced General Manager to lead our Product Company Qingdao division. As the General Manager, you will be accountable for the full operations and P&L of the division, encompassing the Semiconductor Vacuum, Semiconductor Service, Industrial Vacuum, and Industrial Vacuum Service divisions. Your primary responsibility will be to provide innovative and reliable products while enabling ongoing profitable growth. You will lead the development and execution of strategies in line with the Vacuum Technique Production System (VTPS) and SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) principles, ensuring alignment with the guidelines of each relevant division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the operations of the Product Company Qingdao, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Develop and manage an innovative and reliable product portfolio aligned with customer needs and divisional strategies.
• Oversee manufacturing engineering and process development to achieve world-class manufacturing standards.
• Manage an agile and reliable supply chain to support product quality, availability, and cost targets.
• Attract, develop, and retain top talent, fostering diversity and continuous people development.
• Ensure compliance with the Business Code of Practice and applicable laws and regulations.
• Proactively manage relationships with local governments and stakeholders.

Skill and Qualifications:

• University degree in engineering or relevant discipline, or equivalent working experience.
• Extensive experience in operations, planning, supply chain, manufacturing, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing.
• Strong experience in large international project management and new product introduction (NPI).
• Financial acumen with a good understanding of P&L and balance sheet management.
• Proven track record in operations management and successfully managing complex multi-cultural organizations.
• Excellent command of English knowledge of Chinese or willingness to learn.

• Ability to work in a complex matrix organization with many and often conflicting requirements.
