Job Description - Guest Services Officer

In order to support our continued growth and development, we are now looking for high calibre people to join our team in Hong Kong.

Job Duties:

  • Welcome visitors and MCV (Major Corporate Visitors) and kindly request them to register upon arrival.
  • Issue visitors and MCV badges upon their arrival and ensure proper identification.
  • Open the center and prepare chops and related stationary at the reception desk.
  • Accompany clients to the meeting room and assist them as needed.
  • Issue tickets to clients and guide them to the waiting area or cashier, explaining how to check the ticket TV.
  • Handle courier and mail handling tasks efficiently.
  • Manage phone call inquiries professionally and provide accurate information.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and ensure smooth scheduling.
  • Collect specific requirements for meetings and ensure all necessary arrangements are made.
  • Confirm bookings with the host and check the meeting room setup.
  • Contact clients/agents upon receiving cheques and present the cheques to clients upon their arrival (specifically for AXA Time Square office).
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the reception area and ensure sufficient leaflets are available on the shelf.
  • Prepare an adequate number of forms and maintain sufficient stock at counters and reception.
  • Handle MCV verification procedures accurately.
  • Manage meeting room consumables such as pens, writing pads, and other necessary supplies.
  • Arrange catering services whenever required.
  • Assist in serving beverages and organizing catering arrangements for MCV guest visits.

 

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3 years working experience in Guest Services Officer or Receptionist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Proficient in handling phone calls, inquiries, and providing information effectively.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.

 

Place of Work and Working Hours:

  • Causeway Bay (Monday to Friday: 0900-1830)
