Job Description - Manager / Assistant Manager, Customer Data Maintenance(Account Services)

What you'll be doing?

  • ​Process new account openings for individuals and companies in compliance with regulatory guidelines such as AML, KYC, CDD, and ECDD
  • Perform daily customer and account maintenance tasks, including account clean-up exercises, project reviews (e.g., high-risk customer review), account reactivation, and customer information updates Ensure branch operating procedures are properly complied
  • Ensure compliance to branch operating procedures
  • Assist the section head in reviewing and suggesting improvements or reengineering of current workflows, promptly reporting any irregularities 
  • Assist unusual or challenging customer issues or direct them to the appropriate department if needed
  • Handle authenticates/countersigns documents or correspondence for other oversea branches
  • Collaborate with IT development team to introduce and implement a digital platform enhancing the customer application process. 
  • Facilitating effective communication between users and the IT team
  • Offer guidance and assistance to team members through coaching and support
  • Foster and nurture strong customer relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage incoming calls and email inquiries from various parties effectively and efficiently
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, half-yearly, and yearly returns and statistics.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Banking/ Finance / Business Admin or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years’ banking operation experience in Banking industry
  • Business knowledge in banking operation such as corporate account opening
  • Sound experience in software development and user acceptance test is preferred
  • Possess project management skills, including analysis, determination, communication and presentation
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English and Cantonese
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Outgoing, independent and self-motivated
