Quality engineer

Job Description

Danfoss is looking for an experienced manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our team. You will be expected to excel in a fast pace, growing company and thrive in a culture of continuous improvement. You will need to have outstanding interpersonal communication skills to deal with customers, co-workers and suppliers.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Driving continuous improvement through irreversible corrective actions to field issues, process capability and incoming inspection analysis.
• Implementation/maintenance of calibration and measurement system analysis systems.
• Adherence and improvement of Quality Management System through document control.
• Ability to conduct and drive adherence to certification through internal auditing.
• Analyze and initiate continuous improvement through quality metrics (reliability data, PPM, cost).

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

• Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in a technical discipline is required.
• Preferred experience in following quality tools: PPAP, MSA, calibration, Control Plans, PFMEA, and detailed manufacturing work instructions.
• Previous quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment required with preferred experience with IATF 16949:2016.
• Required experience in using problem solving skills such as 8D's, 5 why's, fishbone diagrams
• Proficient at Microsoft Excel and a statistical analysis program (Minitab).
