BNY Mellon Investment Management, which is the umbrella name for all the investment management subsidiaries and affiliates within BNY Mellon, currently has six presences in Asia Pacific, namely Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan.

We are looking for a Senior Client Service Associate based in Hong Kong to support the Investment Management clients in the Asia ex-Japan region. This is a hybrid working role.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Driving the delivery of premium client service and support to institutional & intermediary clients and teams.
  • Collaborate closely with different teams / offices for smooth clients/accounts onboarding, change management, periodic review and monitoring, and transaction monitoring
  • Deliver regular client servicing and reporting, prepare/review reporting and deliver on time, and coordinate and attend client calls/meetings when needed
  • Handle enquiries and complaints timely and professionally
  • Review client agreements and documents and comment from client services/operation prospective
  • Assist in coordination/preparation of client deliverables in RFI/fund manager due diligence/fund due diligence process
  • Effective use of KYC and CRM system and other applications to ensure client record is captured/updated accurately within timeline
  • Provide client data and information to fulfil internal and external requirements/support other functions
  • Contribute to internal projects/coordinate internal assessments when needed
  • Focus on specific goals and demonstrate a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results.
  • Foster a sense of teamwork, support/assist other teams/offices
  • Ensure adheres to established corporate policies/ procedures/internal controls/ regulations, and promptly escalate potential issues and risks

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree holder preferable major in Business, Marketing or Finance related
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Investment Management / Asset Management /Banking industries
  • Hands on experience in AML/KYC process and mutual fund operations
  • Preferably have passed HKSFC relevant exams and is an existing licensed persons to conduct relevant regulated activities
  • Detail-oriented, a quick learner, flexible and can work multi-tasking
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft office: Word, excel, power point and any experience in Bloomberg Terminal, Salesforce, etc., would be advantageous
  • Fluent speaking and reading in English and Chinese (traditional & simplified, Mandarin)
  • Knowledge in different types of investment strategies/products
