Job Description - Senior Officer - Customer Services

The applicant must possess

  1. a recognised degree
  2. a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification working experience in public administration and / or customer service
  3. proven experience in leading a team with customer-oriented mind set
  4. good communication and interpersonal skills and be a pleasant team player
  5. proficiency in Microsoft application software (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Chinese Word Processing is a must and
  6. excellent command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese as well as proficiency in Mandarin.

(Applicants who do not possess the required qualifications and / or experience may be considered for other positions within the organisation.)

Duties include
  1. to process workers registration applications in accordance with the Construction Workers Registration Ordinance (Cap.583) and the operation manual
  2. to provide all round customer services in the CIC Service Centres Kowloon Bay and Nam Cheong to maintain the tidiness, cleanliness, and safety aspects as well as facility conditions of the CIC Service Centres
  3. to be able to lead and motivate the service team to manage the roster and resources management and be prepared to handle ad hoc matters outside office hours if necessary
  4. to support other registration schemes and events held
  5. to handle complaints and enquiries as well as administration matters and
  6. to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.
