Job Description - Senior Technical Service Support Engineer

Mission and Main Responsibiliities:

Technical support is the window between customer center and product company. She/he will be located within the product company to provide technical support to the different customer centers located worldwide. Sporadic travel to customer centers, customers or production entities will be required.

The main goal of technical support is to guarantee that units, maintained by Atlas Copco, should always have the best in class up-time and lowest total cost of ownership without losing sight of our own ecological footprint.

You will mainly be responsible for the Beaconmedeas medical air products.

Your missions:

1. Play an active role in new product development. Assure the highest level of serviceability. You will be responsible for executing service reviews, releasing service kits and spare parts, developing service tools, … for all new projects.
2. Offer structured, professional, and effective service support to all the customer centers in different countries. You will face and resolve the different interesting technical problems every day.
3. Continuously improve the quality of a product, by analyzing failure reports, warranty claims and service tickets. Lead the TCM (Technical Committee Meeting) from failure information gathering to final solution.
4. Provide accurate and up to date service information for the entire lifetime of your product ranges.
5. Develop and deliver professional technical training for customer centers. You will have the opportunity to travel oversea to give and/or receive training.
6. Continuously improve the technical support processes.

7. Temporary tasks assigned by manager.

Main Requirements:

  1. Open mind
  2. Be willing to study new knowledge
  3. Good skill in both oral and written English
  4. Flexible in travel domestic or oversea (short trips)
  5. Experience of product development and/or compressor knowledge is considered a plus
  6. Bachelor's degree and above, major in electrical or mechanical engineering
