The English Schools Foundation (ESF) is the largest English-medium international school organisation in Hong Kong. Our 22 schools and comprehensive programme of extra-curricular activities bring out the best in every student through a personalised approach to learning and by inspiring curious minds.
There are over 18,000 students from 75 different nationalities in ESF kindergartens, primary, secondary and all-through schools. About 70% of our students have parents who are permanent residents of Hong Kong.

ABOUT THE TEAM
KJS is one of the primary schools under the English Schools Foundation (ESF), the largest provider of English-medium international education in Hong Kong, and is a large, well-established five form entry school catering for 900 students from Year 1 to Year 6, and is an IB World School. Teaching and learning at KJS is rich in inquiry and underpinned by a rigorous approach to pedagogy and practice.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Kowloon Junior School (KJS) is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Chinese Department as a Full Time Educational Assistant starting August 2024.
Whilst previous working experience in Year 1 to Year 6 of a primary school would be an advantage, our main goal at KJS is to employ staff who are confident and comfortable working with groups of children across the primary phase and passionate about learning to achieve our vision of “Success for Every Child”.

Requirements
The successful candidate will be someone who has a positive, ‘can do’ attitude and enthusiasm to provide quality support across the campus. He/She will have excellent organisational skills and relish working as part of a team. His/Her excellent spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin), coupled with a warm personality and strong interpersonal skills, will enable him/her to communicate effectively with all members of the school community.
The successful candidate must be a permanent Hong Kong resident or possess a valid visa to work in Hong Kong.
