The appointee will be responsible for promoting Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy to University students and senior secondary students by conducting courses, workshops and related learning and teaching activities. Duties include developing learning and teaching materials, organising and delivering courses and workshops, producing presentation materials and worksheets, developing questionnaires, collecting data for project evaluation, and drafting project reports. He/She will be expected to carry out other duties as assigned by the Project Supervisor. The appointment will be for a period of two years.
Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Psychology, Social Sciences or related disciplines, with 2 years of post-qualification working experience, preferably in tertiary institutions or school sector. They should have good interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently and work as a good team coordinator and player; have good computer literacy, good problem-solving skills; excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in spoken Cantonese is a must). Knowledge of online survey tools is preferred. Experience and knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) and programming will be advantageous, but not a must. Fresh graduate and applicants with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Educational Development Officer (Holding a substantive rank of Educational Development Assistant).
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
